COMEDY SHOWCASE: Final Thursdays SEPT

The hardest room in stand-up is the one fully listening. That is the premise, and The Ideal has the right walls for it: a century-old NewBo room, a proper bar, close sightlines, and no place for a joke to hide if it is not ready.

Final Thursdays Comedy turns that pressure into a monthly ritual. Corey Chestnut curates the rotating lineup, with performers announced about 2 weeks before each show. You are buying the room, the format, and the kind of night where the crowd is close enough to matter. Two shows make it easy to choose your speed, early if dinner is part of the plan, late if the show is the plan.
